Prescription Refunds: Our hospital reserves the right to deny any medication or product being returned for refund. All of our medications are regulated by the FDA and subject to the same dispensing laws as pharmacies. Products that are covered by Manufacturer's guarantee are handled accordingly.
Online Pharmacy Refills: We here at Vale Veterinary Hospital offer an online pharmacy that is both trusted and back by manufacturers.
Your can find us at www.valevethospital.vetsfirstchoice.com
When ordering a prescription online, please allow 24-48hrs for the prescription to be approved. This allows a staff member or doctor to review, approve, and sign the prescription.
Things to keep in mind before ordering from other online pharmacies:
The medications online do not come with a manufacturer's guarantee. This means that manufacturers will not cover any issues that may arise with the medication purchased online, including if you pet contracts heartworms while on monthly prevention. When medications are purchased from an online pharmacy, the product safety can not be guaranteed. The FDA does not monitor the medications for proper storage, packaging, and accuracy. This means that you do not know the source of your medication or if it is trustworthy.
If you choose to use an outside pharmacy, you will be responsible for a prescription fee for each medication per pet requested. A written prescription will be written for pickup only. We do not fax or verbally do any request via phone.
Veterinary/Client Relationship: Your pet must be in current status in order to receive prescription refills. This means that your pet must have had an exam within the last year. We require that your pet be seen when new health concerns arise, this ensures that we are treating with the correct medication and that your pet does not have any underlying health concerns.
